By having three full time field service engineers on staff we are able to respond quickly to calls where customers are in need of service of production equipment that is not running. Exact Machine Service Inc. can help with upgrade needs for you machine tools. We can upgrade electrical systems, motors, drives, digital read out systems and CNC controls. We can also do mechanical upgrades to spindles, ball screws, bearings, hydraulic systems and way systems. You can also purchase parts and accessories from us. with or without installation. We can provide installation, rotary tables, pallet changers, bar feeders, etc. We offer a wide range of new products.
Preventative Maintenance
One of our biggest growth areas is preventative maintenance. So many companies simply run equipment until it fails which can be very costly and cause major damage, unnecessary expense and down time that could have been avoided. Incorporating a ballbar calibration check with the PM service can not only tell you the accuracy of the machine it can trouble shoot and give you a report that can determine many things including: servo mismatch, ballscrew wear and thrust bearing failure, to name a few. It is an excellent instrument to trouble shoot mechanical, electrical and alignment issues on machine tools.
Best of all we do not charge a fee to run a ballbar check on your machine - its part of the PM!
Inspection & Calibration
Exact Machine Service Inc. owns Optodyne lasers and a Renishaw ballbar. We can perform calibration, alignment, check squareness and compensate ballscrews. We can diagnose servo mismatch, scaling mismatch and circularity with our Renishaw ballbar. This is an effective troubleshooting tool.
Plant Maintenance Services
Exact Machine Service also can provide Plant Maintenance Services. We can be contracted to provide HVAC service and maintenance, custodial services, machine coolant and oil replacement services, and machine cleaning and painting to name a few.
