For over 35 years, Newland core engineering group has been working together under European and North American brands.
From 1997-2008, Newland’s current staff of engineers were responsible for R&D, engineering, manufacturing, sales, installation and service of large Horizontal Boring Mills (spindle diameter 110 - 260 mm), Vertical Turning Centers (turning diameter 1.25m-5m), Vertical Grinders (table diameter 1.1m- 3.2m), special machines, machine tool components and accessories.
In 2008, Newland Solutions (Newland Machine Tool Group Inc. since 2010) established a new structure incorporating its headquarters based in Toronto, Canada, own production branches in Canada and Taiwan, and sales/service offices in different countries. Since 1997, Newland designed, manufactured and installed over 300 new large machines and over 600 retrofit projects in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, China, South Korea, Taiwan.
Newland engineers are experienced with custom designed solutions to meet work piece specific customer requirements. These solutions include; special purpose machines or machine components, special work holding fixtures, custom tooling, processing including recommended speeds and feeds, CNC programming and cycle time/quality verification.
